A furnace that won't ignite, short-cycles, or keeps tripping its limit switch needs more than a reset in Nokomis winters. Every visit includes a carbon monoxide safety check, standard, not an upsell.
Furnace failures in Nokomis cluster around a handful of parts — ignitors, flame sensors, gas valves, heat exchangers. Each gets tested with a multimeter and combustion analyzer, not replaced on a hunch, not parts-cannon guessing.
What doesn't change from visit to visit.
Every repair includes a CO check, not optional.
No-heat calls in Nokomis get priority routing over routine work during cold snaps when it's cold.
A fixed price is set before repairs start.
Both fuel types get the same trained tech, no exceptions.
The most common furnace failure points.
Cracked ignitors and carbon-fouled sensors cause a large share of no-heat calls, usually a same-visit fix.
We test actual response and pressure output rather than replacing an expensive part on a hunch before we recommend replacing it.
A cracked heat exchanger can leak combustion byproducts into the airflow — we inspect with a scope and analyzer rather than assuming based on age.
We test both before condemning the control board.
Older Nokomis furnaces with standing pilots have their own failure points — thermocouples, pilot orifices, draft issues that newer ignition doesn't have.
We rule out wiring issues first to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.
Four steps, safety checked at every one.
Tell us what the furnace is doing and we'll get someone moving.
A stocked truck arrives ready to diagnose and often repair same visit.
Safety and diagnostic checks come first, then a flat-rate quote.
We re-check CO before signing off, backed by warranty.
Feedback from completed furnace repairs.
Pilot light kept going out on our older furnace every few days. Tech identified a failing thermocouple that two other companies had overlooked.

Furnace made a loud bang on startup that scared the whole family. Turned out to be a delayed ignition issue from a dirty burner, cleaned and resolved same visit.
— F. Ibekwe, homeowner
Called about a gas smell near the furnace closet and they had someone here within the hour to confirm it was safe before doing any repair work.

Landlord here with an older building, they've kept three separate furnace units running through two winters without a single emergency callout.
